As you may have noticed, we have not really had much happening around here recently. Morthy has been too busy to contribute, so I'm going to bring DoDmaps.jolt.co.uk back to life! Over the course of the next few weeks i will be adding some DoD Source content. stay tuned.
The author of dod_dogesector (TheSurgeon) has posted some new screenshots for his W.I.P DoD:Source map. Click on the links below to view the images.
"It's basically a fusion of dod_charlie and dod_overlord, with some other stuff added/removed. The main layout is of overlord, but with the charlie objectives and back area. The radio has been replaced with a 150mm canon, the biggun with a 2nd flak88, and the original 88 #2 with a mortar position. I still need to add another route to the mortars, add some more underground parts, another axis spawn, and add to the 3dskybox, but otherwise it's mostly done, no idea when it'll be released though. "
Lurking in the update from earlier, was the first ever movie from a Day of Defeat Source custom map! DoD_Falaise is a official dod map, but at the moment the DoD:Source version is NOT official. The created, Fuzzdad has spent around 5 months working on it, and all the effort seems to have really paid off. Fuzzdad describes the map as the movie goes "flys" through it. This is a MUST download
